Julie Amys – Secretary
I joined Thetford Netball Club in 1989 when the club was called Jeyes and have seen many changes over the years. I have played in both the A and B teams throughout my time at the club. I took on the role of Secretary in 2018.
Philippa(Phil) James – umpiring secretary.
I have been part of Thetford netball club for 13 plus years. I have been playing netball since the age of 10 and have represented my county Norfolk when I was 16-18. At the age of 40 I still continue to play and umpire. When did I start umpiring….I can’t remember it’s that long ago, but what I do know is that I love it. I am a C award umpire and I also mentor beginner umpires and those who are striving for their C award. I can also assess beginner umpires. Most people shy away from umpiring within the sport but I find it so rewarding and it’s helped me massively within my own game. #TeamWhite
Kate Clements – Treasurer
Mum to Cassie, Abby and Megan and a whole collection of animals at home. I love all sports but mainly spend my time watching the girls or power walking with our dogs. My husband and I own a courier company of which I am Finance Director and love working with numbers so of course helping out with the club is extremely rewarding. I also volunteer at the local primary school with reading, cooking and as a school governor there and at a primary school in Thetford as really believe every child should be given opportunities to thrive no matter what their circumstances.
Tina Taylor – Welfare and Safeguarding Officer
I have been part of Thetford Netball Club since January 2017 as a supporting parent. As a qualified Safeguarding lead Professional in my “real job” I felt this role would be well suited. I have attended recent training that is relevant (Time to talk) for this role
